Offline mode

Internet out. Sales in.

Power cuts, ISP issues, dead signal in the back room — none of it stops your business. The POS keeps working. Sync happens the moment connection returns.

The problem

Connectivity isn't guaranteed

Tanzania's internet is improving but still unreliable. One hour without signal shouldn't mean an hour of lost sales and angry customers. But on most cloud POS systems, that's exactly what it means.

Our approach

Built local-first

Sales are saved on the device first, then to the server. If the server isn't reachable, nothing breaks. When you reconnect, the queue syncs automatically — no buttons to press, no manual fix-up.

How it works

Three steps.

1

Lose connection

System detects offline. A calm banner appears. The POS keeps working exactly the same way.

2

Keep selling

Every sale saves to the device and queues for sync. Stock counts update locally.

3

Come back online

Queue syncs automatically in the background. You see a confirmation when everything's through.

What you get

Everything included.

  • Sales queue securely on-device
  • Automatic sync on reconnection
  • Per-device offline history
  • Encrypted offline storage
  • Conflict review if two devices edit the same record
  • Available on Business and Enterprise plans
